01. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Traworld for corporate training, team building, corporate trips or corporate events, or by browsing this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are booking on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for that organisation.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please contact us before proceeding with a booking so we can address your questions directly.
02. Services Description
Traworld is a Kuala Lumpur based corporate experiences company, founded in 2019. We plan and deliver:
- Corporate Training, including HRD Corp claimable programmes in leadership, communication, sales, customer service and marketing or digital skills.
- Team Building, across indoor, outdoor, cultural, culinary, artistic, wellness, sporty, adventure, eco-friendly, collaborative, themed, overseas and fully customised formats.
- Corporate Trips and retreats, from a single day to multi-day itineraries, fully customised where needed.
- Corporate Events, including gala and annual dinners, product launches, family days and appreciation nights, with production elements such as emcee, performances, sound, photography and videography handled in house.
The exact scope, itinerary, inclusions and pricing for any engagement are confirmed in writing with each client before an event or programme is delivered, and these terms should be read together with that written confirmation.
03. Bookings and Payments
A booking is considered confirmed once both parties have agreed on scope, dates and pricing, typically via a written quotation, invoice or proposal. Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out in that quotation or invoice and are agreed on a per-engagement basis.
Prices quoted are specific to the group size, dates, location and inclusions discussed at the time. Changes to any of these after confirmation may affect the final price, and we will always flag this before proceeding with a change.
04. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any applicable notice periods or fees tied to third-party suppliers such as venues, hotels or transport providers, are set out in each engagement's written confirmation, since these vary depending on the destinations, vendors and dates involved.
Where a cancellation is driven by a third-party supplier, such as a venue closure or a change in travel restrictions, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or find a fair resolution.
05. Client Responsibilities
To help us deliver a smooth programme or event, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate participant numbers, dietary requirements and any relevant medical or accessibility needs ahead of the agreed deadline.
- Communicate any changes to scope, dates or attendee count as early as possible.
- Ensure participants follow reasonable safety guidance given on site during training sessions, team building activities, trips and events.
- Settle payments according to the agreed terms in the written confirmation for that engagement.
06. Limitation of Liability
Traworld takes care in planning and delivering every programme, trip and event, and works with vetted venues, trainers and suppliers. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Traworld's liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount paid for that specific engagement.
We are not responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, third-party venue or transport disruptions, or government restrictions, though we will always work with clients to adapt plans where possible.
07. Intellectual Property
All training materials, itineraries, event concepts, branding and content created by Traworld remain the intellectual property of Traworld unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive the right to use materials provided for their own internal purposes connected to the engagement, but may not resell or redistribute them without our consent.
Photography or videography taken during a Traworld programme or event may be used by Traworld for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless a client requests otherwise in writing beforehand.
08. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or from an engagement with Traworld will first be addressed through direct discussion between the parties, in the spirit of the working relationship we aim to build with every client.
09. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect how we operate. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
