The terms that apply when you use this website or book training, team building, trips or events with Traworld.
01Acceptance of Terms
By visiting this website or engaging Traworld for corporate training, team building, corporate trips or corporate events, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website or proceed with a booking.
These terms apply to visitors, enquirers and clients alike, and they sit alongside any written proposal, quotation or agreement we send you for a specific programme.
02Services Description
Traworld is a Kuala Lumpur based corporate experiences company, founded in 2019. We plan and run Corporate Training, Team Building, Corporate Trips and Retreats, and Corporate Events for organisations across Malaysia.
The exact scope of any engagement, including programme content, dates, group size, location and inclusions, is set out in the proposal or quotation we prepare for you. Where a description on this website differs from a signed proposal, the signed proposal governs.
Eligible training programmes may be claimable under your organisation's HRD Corp levy. Claimability is subject to HRD Corp's own rules and approval, and Traworld will support the paperwork but cannot guarantee approval on HRD Corp's behalf.
03Bookings and Payments
A booking is confirmed once you accept a written proposal or quotation and any required deposit is received. Dates and inclusions are held provisionally until that point and may be released if a deposit is not received within the timeframe stated in the proposal.
Payment terms, including deposit amount, balance due date and accepted payment methods, are set out in your proposal or invoice. Late payment may affect our ability to hold venues, vendors or transport that have been booked on your behalf.
04Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be made in writing as early as possible. Because we commit to venues, trainers, transport and other vendors on your behalf ahead of your event date, cancellation fees and any non-refundable third-party costs may apply depending on how close the request is to the event date.
The specific cancellation and rescheduling terms for your programme, including any applicable notice periods and fees, are set out in your proposal or agreement. Where no specific terms are stated, we will work with you in good faith to minimise costs on both sides.
05Client Responsibilities
To help us plan and deliver a smooth programme, clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate participant numbers, dietary requirements and any access or medical needs ahead of the agreed deadline.
- Communicating changes to dates, headcount or scope as early as possible.
- Briefing participants on the programme, venue rules and any conduct expected of them.
- Settling payments in line with the agreed terms so that vendor bookings can proceed on schedule.
Traworld is not responsible for delays or shortfalls in delivery that result from inaccurate information or late instructions provided by the client.
06Limitation of Liability
Traworld coordinates venues, trainers, transport and other third-party vendors as part of most programmes. While we select and brief these partners carefully, we are not liable for acts, omissions, delays or failures that are outside our reasonable control, including those caused by third-party vendors, weather, transport disruption or force majeure events.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traworld's liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount paid by the client for that specific programme. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
07Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photography, logos and the Traworld name and wordmark, belongs to Traworld or is used with permission, and may not be copied, reproduced or reused without our written consent.
Training materials, run sheets, itineraries and creative concepts prepared by Traworld for a specific client remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing, though clients are of course free to use them for their own internal purposes for the programme they were created for.
08Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a booking with Traworld will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
09Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate or to comply with legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the website or an ongoing booking after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
